Fans of the FIFA World Cup Final 2026 can expect a star-studded lineup already as excitement brews for next year’s tournament. On July 19, 2026, BTS, Shakira, and Madonna will take the stage for FIFA’s first-ever official halftime show to perform at MetLife Stadium.

Surprisingly, reports stated that none of the performers will be paid for their appearances. In fact, Chris Martin is reportedly curating the halftime show alongside Global Citizen as producers. Rather than receiving an appearance fee, artists will donate their performance time towards the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund in hopes of raising USD 100 million for children’s education around the globe.
The move for a “no fee” appearance is nothing new and also goes for artists appearing during the Super Bowl halftime show. Due to the billions of viewers tuning in next year for the World Cup final, exposure alone will be worth more than any fee.

Fans of the three musicians are buzzing as Shakira recently dropped a new World Cup anthem with Burna Boy while Madonna readies her latest album Confessions II. BTS will also be on their reunion world tour following members finishing their respective military duties.
“This won’t be a commercial. It will be a celebration of football, a message of unity and connectivity between teams and fans from around the world,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said. “It will be a great celebration of music and culture from three global artists.”
