From Miss France to Sports Medicine: Marine Ltemporel Reveals a Life-Changing Career Move

Remaining in the public eye often becomes a full-time job for celebrities. But for Marine Ltemporel, staying out of the spotlight for a while may be helping her prepare for what’s next. Having been out of the spotlight for most of the last half-year, the former beauty queen has announced she’s diligently preparing to enter the medical field.

Preparing for Life Post-Coronation

Marine Ltemporel rose to fame in 2013 when she won the Miss France pageant at age 19. She pursued a career in medicine while remaining in the spotlight, graduating from university and continuing to work on entertainment-based projects.

Recently, however, she’s been preparing to take the next step in her medical career.

On June 18, 2026, Marine shared a story on Instagram in which she addressed her hiatus. “It’s been six months since I really threw myself into studying again,” she began. She’d been immersed in internships, her studies, review sessions, and sports medicine training, a period during which she turned down paid work.

Sacrificing time with friends and projects she enjoyed, Marine prioritized medicine above all else. But being back in school seems to have given her a new appreciation for the profession. “I discovered a real passion” she wrote. “It’s the beginning of a new life for me.”

Diving Into Her Medical Career

The latest update from Marine comes on the heels of graduating from medical school last year. In 2025, she defended her thesis and officially became a doctor of general medicine.
Posting a photo of herself taking the Hippocratic Oath, Marine celebrated reaching her goal she’d set well before becoming Miss France. “Doctor Marine Ltemporel is officially a qualified general practitioner!” she gushed. “So proud of you my girl! Lots of love from your Stanislas Gruau and our whole family ❤️”

She also wrote that she was happy to have achieved the goal she’d set years ago. “Finally I’m done!” Marine said of receiving her degree. “I’m so happy to have gotten there. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and pushed me!”

While Marine will be validating her diploma soon, she recently hinted that she has a passion for sports medicine. “I’m going to continue training to become a specialist in sports medicine,” she shared.

Her Decision To Switch Careers

Marine Ltemporel’s story is inspiring because she’s following her dreams—dreams she had before ever winning a pageant. In a world where celebrity can often dictate the jobs we take, few of us will have the opportunity to completely start over in a new career.
But Marine is proving that it’s possible. And if she needs motivation to keep studying and preparing, she has her upcoming diploma validation to look forward to in the coming months.
