At 11 years old, Monaco’s royal twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, are already proving to be quite at ease with public attention. Recently, Monaco’s twins went on a Germany visit with their parents, and stole the show once again with charming smiles and poise all evening.
Their parents were invited to Germany to celebrate the opening of Europa-Park’s new Monaco-inspired land but as usual, their adorable twin children stole the spotlight.

Monaco Brings Its Spirit to Europa-Park
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene visited Rust, Germany on June 29 for the opening of Europa-Park’s newest land dedicated to Monaco. The attraction took years of partnership between Monaco and Europa-Park, one of Europe’s largest theme parks, to complete. Visitors to the new Monaco-themed land can now enjoy attractions inspired by Monaco’s landmarks, sporting history and cultural celebrations.
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were joined by their twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella as well as Princess Stephanie for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Albert even jokingly said, “…we are not quite sure who is receiving who!”
The Young Royals Continue to Grow Into Public Life
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella may be young, but they’re starting to embrace life in the public eye. The twins have shown a new level of confidence during royal appearances this year, and it continued at the Europa-Park ceremony.
The twins stood beside their parents at the ceremony, and took turns cutting the ribbon to officially open Monaco-land. The important ritual symbolizes their roles in the future of Monaco’s monarchy.
What impressed many though was just how comfortable the twins appeared. The royal children smiled and conducted themselves with grace, but still maintained an innocence that allowed them to just be kids sometimes.

A Stylish and Heartwarming Family Appearance
Everyone in Monaco’s royal family dressed the part for the special occasion.
Prince Albert wore a blue blazer with light blue pants, while Princess Charlene wore an ivory belted shirt dress with gold hoop earrings and her hair in a low bun. Prince Jacques matched his father with a blue jacket and white shirt, and Princess Gabriella wore a bright coral outfit.
Photo attendees captured some lovely moments between Princess Charlene and her kids too. Charlene could be seen whispering to Gabriella throughout the ceremony. She lovingly rested her hand on her daughter’s shoulder and the two shared some adorable hugs.
More Than a Royal Photo Opportunity
Visitors to Monaco’s new land at Europa-Park will be able to explore Monaco-inspired attractions, including a nod to the Café de Paris, Monaco’s famous motorsports legacy, and more.

But this night was about more than just Monaco. The smiling faces of Jacques and Gabriella show another side of Monaco’s royal future. The confident manner, stylish appearances, and loving family moments are why we continue to enjoy watching this twin duo grow up.
